I’m a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law and I have been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1998. I began my legal career as the Judicial Law Clerk for the judges of the Cherokee Judicial Circuit (comprised of Bartow County and Gordon County.) After a short time with a small firm, I opened my solo practice in Cartersville, Georgia in 2001. I have a general practice with a heavy focus on family law (divorce, child custody and support, adoption, name changes, and contempt actions) and criminal defense (DUI and traffic cases, drug cases, shoplifting, including felonies and misdemeanors.) I practice throughout Northwest Georgia including Bartow County, Gordon County, Floyd County, Cobb County, Polk County, Paulding County and Cherokee County, and in the municipal courts of Emerson, Cartersville, Acworth, Adairsville, Marietta, Rome, Rockmart, Cedartown, Canton and Calhoun.
